Can Young Children Participate in a Family Nature Retreat?
Yes! There is no age limit or restrictions on who can participate in a retreat. Every retreat is tailored to the specific needs and desires of each family. If a family desires to bring younger children (under 10), then the retreat may be altered to include activities and experiences for the children of the family.
Where Do Family Nature Retreats Take Place?
The goal of each retreat is to provide an experience that is as impactful as possible for each family. To obtain a list of suggested locations, please contact us. But if your family has a location in mind where you’d would like to spend your retreat time, all suggestions — even outside the U.S. — will be considered.
What is “Glamping?”
It’s “glamorous camping”! A typical retreat involves staying at a small resort/spa that offers opportunities for immersion in nature. These resorts are relaxing, providing creature comforts including delicious food, but still offer ample opportunities for quiet, distraction-free contemplation and reflection. While tent-camping and isolation are an option, we want the experience to be as stress-free for the families as possible. More information about what a retreat looks like can be found here.
